To the precious love of my life Kenny. On the outside, I may look like everything is o.k. But on the inside. I am going thru Grief, heartbreak n turmoil. I’m still expecting u to come home. I cannot accept the fact tht your gone. And tht I will never see u again in the living world. I know that I will see you again. On the other side. But my heart cannot accept that’s hes gone.A part of me is gone. My Love, I will cherish my precious memories that we have made together. Along with our G’ children. I have never known such a patient, warm, kind hearted compassionate man. You r no longer suffering or in pain. You have climbed the stairway to Heaven. God has gained another angel.R.I.P. My love. My prayers and thoughts for Kenny and his family. I was on the Boxing team with him in Colstrip for many years. He was a dedicated and hard working athlete. He had the stamina of a champion marathon runner. RIP Kenny.

Our thoughts prayers go out to the family and friends of Kenny Spotted Elk Jr. He will be remembered as one our best Cross Country runners from Colstrip. Safe travels. It was a honer to coach you.
Travis Kennedy says
My thoughts and prayers are with Kenny’s family. He was a fast runner, one of the best. What I remember the most is that he was always good to me and treated me like a little brother. He’d say, “here little brother, wear my coat” and then I’d feel all proud. I don’t know how life went for him after high school, but I’ll always remember those times during my freshman year and have always wished the best for Kenny. I will always remember you my friend.

My apologies for just writing this message of condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth. You don’t know me, but during my time in the army, I went to Basic Training with Kenneth. His spirit touched me deeply. His company gave me strength. I am sorry I waited until it was too late to try and connect with him.
Stephan Greenway says
As a shite man, it pains me to tell this story, because it makes me feel shame. But maybe you will feel pride. The drill sergeants were pretty frightening to us young soldiers. And they would do and say anything to getva rise out of us. In the case of Kenneth, one drill would poke fun (I’m ashamed to say) at his name. One day Kenneth stood up and said, “You can do anything you want to me, but I ask you to respect my name.” I was thrilled by his courage and humbled by my place next to him. The drill never made fun of his name again. I had so much respect for him. I admired him greatly.
