Kenneth Lee Brammer
August 5, 1954-October 20, 2021
Ken (Kenny) passed away unexpectedly, while taking a quick evening nap. He was healthy and happy and living the mountain man ranching lifestyle he so thoroughly loved in Montana. He is survived by his wife and life partner of 27 years Mary Anne (Brucker) Brummer; his sons, Jesse Coulton Brammer of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Sheldon Elmer Brammer of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and Braden Guy Roush of Briggsdale, Colorado; his mother, Mary Lou Brammer of Woodbine, Iowa; brothers, Jeff Brammer of Summerset, South Dakota, Rick Brammer of Merino, Colorado; sisters, Becky Eilers of Woodbine, Iowa, and Debbie Holmes of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Wyatt Roush and Willow Roush of Briggsdale, Colorado, and Ryddyk Brammer of Yuma, Arizona; father, Stanley DeLoss Brammer passed away in 2006. Ken came from a large extended family with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. Over the years both teens and adults came to live with and learn Ken’s special ranching lifestyle and outlook on life. There is a never-ending list of people that have touched his heart, and he loved every single one and considered them like one of his own. Memorials to be announce.
Ken served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Ken, you were a man among men. You were one of the hardest working and self motivated lads I’ve ever seen. And you were a steward of the land indeed. If the world had more men like you we’d all be better off. Hearing of your passing was like a huge beautiful irreplaceable tree falling over in the forest. Sad. Still so hard to believe you’re gone. You were of the old breed generation and I learned a lot from you over the years which I’ll be eternally grateful for and looked up to you a lot. Wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for you and Mary. Truly. Lots of good memories with you at River Ranch that I’ll be telling my grandkids one day. Your crazy stories from a life well lived, even though I couldn’t hear you half the time sitting in that old one ton with that darn engine and you drinking your “emergency beer” will be fondly missed. Glad you got to have one last Busch Light for the road in the that ole recliner of yours. That’s where you wanted to be, cowboy. I’ll miss you my old friend. You will not be forgotten.
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14
