Kent;
Know that you are a good son who loved and cared for his Dad until the end. Because of your love he was able to live and die in his own home. That is a blessing. I am grateful to have visited Mile City with Donna this summer. We enjoyed sight seeing arouund town , your dad was a wealth of knowledge and his dry sense of humor was typical Norwegian.He enjoyed going to breakfast at Horton House the bed and breakfast where we would stay. Heidi The proprietor prepared fabulous four course meals and she enjoyed visiting with your Dad and he with her. He will always remain bigger then life in my eyes. I remember visiting the farm in Circle and he would come back to the house hot and sweaty after a day of fixing fences.He was a lucky man who was pretty healthy up until the end. Despite set backs he was always optimistic and his mind was clear. RIP uncle Kenny, you will be missed.

KENT-I KNEW OF YOUR DAD AND IT SOUNDS LIKE I MISSED OUT ON INTERESTING HISTORY, BY NOT GETTING SOME TALKS WITH HIM ON THE HISTORY OF MILES CITY. I HAVE KNOWN YOU SINCE THE MAILROOM DAYS. THAT COVERS MANY YEARS AND GOOD MEMORIES THAT I WILL NOT FORGET. I WISH YOU THE BEST.

Joan Smith says
Kent,
The memories living by your family growing up are some of the best . Your dad was an amazing man who raised three wonderful boys and indeed was larger then life. I’m so glad he got to live his life out at home as our dad did too, I’m sure that meant a lot to him. There’s quite a few people in heaven having a heck of a great reunion right now.
God Bless

Kenneth was my Dad’s cousin, and we visited Ingolf, his Dad and my Dad’s uncle about 1957. Had a great time shooting tin cans for the first time, and meeting the family.
Sorry about the passing of Kenneth. We’re all getting up in age.
