Kevin was a sweetie. When at around 8 or 9 years old, he “rolled” my hair in a comb (which took an hour to untangle), I knew he would go on to bigger and better things. He will be missed.

Kevin always had a joke & a smile to make your day better. I’ve known Kevin for 25+ years & shared some of the best times getting my hair done by one of the most loving, kind & gentle man. Kevin dearly loved his family & spoke highly of you all. He also loved his little dog & told stories of the shenanigans he got into. I have pictures of Kevin with my daughters & my granddaughters so he knew 3 generations of my family, I will cherish those pictures & memories of Kevin forever. Those big bear hugs are going to be greatly missed.
My heart breaks for his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched.
The world has lost the sweetest gentle giant I’ve ever known.
May you feel comfort knowing Kevin is loved by many & is at peace.
Sincere condolences

Kevin,
The news or your passing is difficult to comprehend. When I think about you I see your great smile, hear your light hearted conversations and goofy comments and feel the warmth that comes from being around a truly good person. Growing up with you and your siblings around iare some of my very best childhood memories, so many memories. My absolute favorite is when Jeff was messing with us and you chased him down the street by Paul’s house with a broom. You had every intent of whipping his ass with it, all I could do was watch and think holy crap he’s crazy!. I remember when some stray dog killed my rabbits and you helped me hunt it down, I was so upset and I wanted justice so we were going to hang that dog to make it pay for my hurt. We had him roped up and ready to swing…… we felt bad about killing the poor dog in the end so we let him go, but you had my back on that one no questions asked. The great defender…. fearless is what I remember, a damn warrior. Just a lust for life and a love for people.
Life has become so fragile, I am truly sorry to hear you are gone, but you are only gone in body my friend. Memories of you will live within those who knew you and who were lucky enough to be touched by your kindness.
For your family, I am so sorry for your loss….. There are no words for this kind of hurt, only shared tears.
RIP

Like so many of his clients, a friendship was inevitable as Kevin welcomed me into his world in ’96. He always kept me up to date with all of his family, and we all became one huge family. I hate that I can’t remember the jokes nor could tell them like he could. But the many laughs and the twinkle in his eyes as we held private moments together will never be forgotten. How he loves his mom, missed his dad tremendously, sisters, brothers, stories of playing in the pool with the kids, camping trips, dart and bowling leagues, all of it made Kevin such a joy to listen to as he spoke. He took such pride lovingly helping you, mom, and his work at your home, loved the gardens and pond he created and wanted to make sure they were always prepared and ready to go. Kevin- I really miss your presence and am comforted knowing you are at peace in God’s arms. Rest now- you deserve it.

We were lucky enough to have Kevin as not only someone to do our hair but also as a friend. Kevin was a very special person and had done the hair for 5 generations of our family. Over the years Kevin saw us at our best and worst. We knew we could talk to him about anything and everything and we always felt better after visiting with him. We will miss the hug and “love you” from Kevin. Kevin always went out of his way for us. For our granddaughter’s wedding he drove to Colorado Springs to do the hair styling for all of the girls in the wedding. Also, on my 70th birthday he came to the party, met all or our family, and added to the celebration. Kevin was one of a kind. We love you Kevin, Rest in Peace.

I have known Kevin for the past 15 years. I first met him on a recommendation as someone who could cut my daughter’s hair (Amy has significant disabilities and drives a power wheelchair). Over time he also became my barber barber. He was exceptional at his craft but most importantly was a wonderful and close family friend. We loved him and miss him.
God speed my friend.

I continue to pray for you as you work through the very real grief you are feeling for Kevin. He was a dear man and I LOVED being around him. He talked about his family all the time and how very much he loved all of you! I am so sad I will never see him again, my heart just aches. I will think about him every time I am out in the garden, or I do a new diy project, or I need a haircut and wish so much I could see him.
Love To All Of You. I know there is a very special place in Heaven where he is.
