Kiever Ryan Rogers was born in Billings, MT to Christine Paff on July 7, 1990. He attended school in Butte, Hysham, and Miles City. He also attended and graduated the Alaskan Youth Challenge Program in 2010. Kiever worked several different jobs in the Alaska and Miles City areas. He enjoyed cooking, sports, playing pool, The Raiders, doing roofing and construction, and spending time with family and friends.
Kiever is survived by his mother, Christine Paff, of Miles City; step-father, Jay Paff of Anchorage, Alaska; his grandparents, Carol and Gene Gamble of Hysham, and June and Russ Paff of New York; his brother, Trevor Rogers; his sister, Randi Rogers; his step-brother, Nick Paff; his great-grandfather Kenneth Arneson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Nona Arneson; his great-grandparents Art and Helen Gamble; and his step-sister Taren Paff.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011, starting at 1:00 p.m. with family to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. Burial will follow at Custer County Cemetery. kiever, you were one of the best! from the first time i met you when i thought you were just the biggest dork, until i really got to hang out with you and you became a great friend to me, you could light up a room just by walking in, you always knew what to say to make some one pissed off or you could turn right around and make them the happiest person. Words escape to the loss of this young man. I had the privilege to get know know him when he came to ALaska to finish school and stayed with his father and i. He was charming, funny and I so loved to watch the.love that he had for his dad and how he talked about his family. Many a conversations we had over the course of our te together. I cannot think of one I didnt laugh in. I wasnt your step mom in any sense of the word but that never stopped me from loving u like my own. He ALWAYS called or text me happy mothers day and major holidays to let me know he.was thinking of me. So little time to love u … What a blosoming young man u were becoming… Such a loss.
