Kimora, already a spirited little girl in the womb, passed away unexpectedly during the final trimester at St. Vincent´s Hospital in Billings, MT. She was delivered on February 24th to Brianna C. Stops and Kin W. Cain, weighing 7 lbs. and having grown 19 inches long. She had her mom´s nose, chin and toes, and her dad´s everything else. Though she had a short time on earth, Kim already had a strong set of likes and dislikes. She enjoyed her dad´s cooking, car rides, the sounds of rodeo, powwows and Modern Warfare: Call of Duty. She hated spicy foods and when mama jumped during scary movies. We will remember her fondly and cannot wait until we meet her again in heaven.
Kimora is survived by her parents, grandparents, Carol Fleming-Stops of Colstrip, Suzette Cain and Mark Elk Shoulder Jr. Great Grandparents, the late Clarice and Cline Fleming formerly of Lame Deer and Mark and Ilo Wandering Medicine of Birney. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other family members. Please forgive us if we fail to mention everyone as this has been so very stressful for us.
The family would like to thank the St. Vincent´s Labor and Delivery staff for their wonderful support and caring attention to Brianna and baby Kimora. Special thanks to Nurses, Joy, Becky and Christina who were very respectful to the wishes of Brianna and Kin and to Dr. Dahl who delivered her.
Our hearts are heavy, but heaven has a special black haired angel who is watching over us and waiting for us to be reunited. We love you with all of our hearts. Sleep in peace our baby girl.
Wake Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28th at 7:00pm at the Lutheran Church in Muddy Cluster. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 29th at 11:00am at the Lame Deer Boys & Girls Club with burial at the new Lame Deer Cemetery. Lunch will be provided at the Boys and Girls Club.
