Kobe J. Hiwalker-Killsnight “Hohnoka” Contrary was taken home January 4th, 2019 into the loving arms of his mother who he missed very much. Born September 14th, 2001 to the late Naomi Killsnight and Terry Hiwalker. He grew up in the Lame Deer area and loved to play video games and hang out with friends. Kobe was recently going to follow his mom’s footsteps and attend the Montana Youth Challenge Program. He was looking forward to this adventure. Kobe is a direct descendent of Chief Killsnight, Chief Little Wolf and Chief Dull Knife. In Kobe’s younger years he was a very hyper and crazy kid that was always getting into mischief. As he got older he became a very respectful and helpful young man. Always greeted with a “What’s up” or “What up Doe” he really missed his mother and often cried for her now he is in her loving arms. His aunties, uncles and grandpas loved to tease and laugh with Kobe on a regular basis. Kobe enjoyed cruising the hills and loved the game of basketball. He loved hanging out with his bros. In his final months of his life he loved to spend time with his girlfriend Shaneka Bixby who he adored and loved very much.
