I was saddened to hear of Larry’s passing. I worked with Larry at the motel in Broadus. He was always cheerful when he came into the office. We had many interesting discussions about life. He was a kind and thoughtful man. He will be missed. I pray that his family will find comfort in knowing that he was loved by those who knew him.

Larry left a lasting impression in all the communities he lived and served in. There was an obvious and heavy sadness after hearing of his passing in the hearts of all who knew him, whether it being a little or a lot. He had a smile, wave, and a kind word for anyone and everyone, making no one a stranger in his eyes. His many talents–including cooking a good meal or being rockhound deluxe–will be missed.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. We shared many conversations about our mutual love for rocks and stones. Whe I had the Copper Moon he stopped in nearly every day. He will be missed by many.

I will really miss Larry. We had some very interesting conversations during the time we all worked together at the motel and sure missed his cooking at the Stockman’s when he left there. We lost a good one. Rest in peace Larry. Condolences to the family.
