Funeral Service: Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational UnitedChurch of Christ in Glendive.
Larry Dean Hansen, 42, a lifetime resident of Glendive Montana, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on March 12, 2008.
Larry was born on August 11, 1965 to Donald Hansen and Caroline (Kukus) Hansen. Larry grew up living in Forest Park. He graduated from Dawson County High School in 1983, and married Ronda Adams on May 11, 1985. Larry was employed at the Glendive Medical Center for twenty years. He also worked with his father-in-law, Arlo Adams, running a wild game meat processing shop. Larry was a hard worker; he was short on complaints and full of ambition. Although Larrys free time was kept to a minimum during hunting season, he spent the majority of his off time with family. He enjoyed helping his kids with projects and attending all of their school and sporting events.
One of Larry's greatest loves in his life was going snowmobiling with his friends and family. He truly enjoyed those trips to the mountains and dreamed of one day retiring there with his wife.
Larry was well known and loved by many people in the community; this was proven beyond a doubt when a benefit was held for him in September of 2006. The attendance and contributions from the community were astonishing. Larry was very thankful and full of emotion whenever he talked about the community's generosity.
He is survived by: his wife Ronda; his three children Levi, Shaunda, and Brent; his parents Donald and Caroline; his mother-in-lawArdie Adams; his sister-in-law Vicki (Adams) Griffith and her husband Joachim; his nephew Hunter Griffith; and special friends Shaylee Jeannotte and Brent Dion.
