In Memory Of

Larry Hunt, age 20, of Broadus.

June 30, 2000 – April 12, 2021

On the morning of April 12, 2021 Larry Anthony Hunt passed away near Broadus, Montana.  Larry was 20 years old.

Larry was born on June 30, 2000 in Everett, Washington to Timothy and Connie Hunt.

Larry lived in Washington until he was almost 4 years old when his family moved to Montana.  As a kid Larry loved playing video games, hiking, fishing, playing and fighting with his brothers, and just being silly.  Larry was 12 years old when his sister was born and he let her boss him around.

Larry went to school in Broadus where during high school he enjoyed playing football, wrestling, and going to brandings.  After graduating from high school in 2019 he joined the US Army.  He completed basic training at Fort Jackson.  Larry then went to Fort Eustis where he learned to work on Apache helicopters.  He was last stationed in Hawaii.

Larry enjoyed hanging out with friends and was quick to help others.  He loved to make people laugh and had an energy about him that was hard not to notice.

Larry is survived by his parents Timothy and Connie Hunt, his brothers, Issac Christiansen and Mason Hunt, and sister Kaya Hunt.

Special thanks to PR County Sheriffs, 1st Responders, U.S. Army, Tom Herzog, and everyone for your help, support, and love.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting:  www.stevensonandsons.com.

I am at a loss for words, knowing no words can wipe away your tears or ease your pain. Larry was a very kind young man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. I was fortunate enough to have meet him.
Larry and other young adults would spend nights at our house, as they had early morning brandings. He was the only one, I can remember who would fold his bedding and pile it on the end of the couch. At brandings; I observed him, he was always ready to help and would just jump in wherever he saw a need. It was little things like that, inspired others to do their best and make others want him apart of their crew. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who lives were touched by Larry, as I am positive their grieving is great. My heart is with his family, although it’s difficult to see beyond your sorrow, may the memories help comfort you today and always.

Hunt was the one of the best roommates a guy could ask for. Hunt just made time at eustis go by. He helped me through a lot and words cannot express how great full I am that I had the pleasure of meeting your son. He was an all around great guy who cared deep and loved hard. Pfc hunt will never be forgotten. Above the best.
