Larry Miller, age 52, of Gillette, Wyoming, died July 22, 2004 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming from complications of cancer.
Larry Lee Miller was born May 23, 1952, the son of Bill and Alyce (Lee) Miller in Hamilton, Montana. Larry was raised and educated in Corvallis, Montana, graduating from Corvallis High School in 1971. On June 12, 1971, Larry married Elna Hulford near Hamilton, Montana. One son was born of this union. As a young adult, Larry worked on local ranches and in hay fields in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana and in Idaho. In the early 1970s, he moved to Gillette, Wyoming and began working in the oilfields. Larry was the owner of ABM Well Service in Gillette, Wyoming for the past several years.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his precious grandchildren. He also enjoyed his line of work, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, trips to Deadwood, South Dakota, going to Denver, Colorado for Bronco games. Larry also enjoyed his many pets over the years.
Larry is survived by his wife of Rozet, Wyoming; his son, Chad (Joanie) Miller of Gillette, Wyoming; his grandchildren: Emily and William Miller of Gillette, Wyoming; his sister, Peggy (Reid) Flinders of Corvallis, Montana; his brother, Bill Miller of Hamilton, Montana; his mother-in-law, Minnie Hulford of Rozet, Wyoming; his brothers-in-law, Gary (LaVern) Hulford of Fallon, Nevada; Carl (Sherrie) Hulford of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Jack (Cindy) Hulford of Las Vegas, Nevada; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents; his nephew, Todd Cunningham and his father-in-law, Rufus Hulford.
A memorial has been established in Larrys name to benefit Hospice of Campbell County Memorial Hospital or the oncology unit of Gillette, Wyoming.
