Dear Ulrich family,
I didn’t know your mother well, but the few times I was around her, her kindness and love was so apparent to all she met. What a gentle soul. My deepest sympathies to all of you. LaVonne, Kermit and family lived two doors away from me in Miles City for many years, like decades? The obituary is very nice and I could see LaVonne in all of it. One could never ask for a better neighbor. I hope you find peace and comfort knowing you had the best mom in the world.

I remember this sweet woman well…always full of love and ambition! Prayers for all of her loved ones…..for comfort and peace that only Christ can bring, we care!
Vicki (Crone) Tapia says
Ahh, LaVonne, one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. She, Kermit and their four children moved next door to my family when I was ten years old. Even if we kids got into trouble, she was nice! I thank her for “sharing” her firstborn, Kathy, with me for so many sleepovers growing up, it was hard to tell if Kath actually lived at my house or her own. She even let us paint Kathy’s room purple! I remember when LaVonne spoke to people, she often called them “kid,” as an endearment, rather than using their name. I remember ham and chocolate brownies, but mostly I remember her genuine caring, her interest in people and her kindness, something we could use more of in today’s world.

Kermit, Loree, and family: I am so very grateful to have known LaVonne. I will miss–as I already have–my conversations on Sundays with her and her good sense of humor. I wish you all the peace of Christ, the peace that surpasses all understanding, as you both celebrate her life and grieve her death. May the hope we have in God’s Word of life, which stands forever bring you comfort. You are in my prayers.
