In Memory Of

Lawrence Tredway, age 66, of Miles City.

November 11, 1951 – September 23, 2018

Lawrence D. Tredway, age 66, of Miles City, passed away on September 23, 2018 at Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City, MT.

Lawrence was born on November 11, 1951 in Miles City the son of Eugene and Rosella (Webster) Tredway. He grew up in Miles City where he attended school and one month before graduating Lawrence made the decision to join the United States Navy. He served his country for two years before being honorably discharged on August 11, 1972. Afterwards he returned to Miles City and began working as a cook for various places in town. It was during this time he met Nora Swift and the two were married and had two children together Dale and Phillip. Lawrence and Nora later divorced and Dale began working various jobs but he eventually began working at Pine Hills State School. He married Karalee Feist and the two moved to Wyoming and had one son Levi together. He moved to Kalispell for a short period of time to help his father log before moving back to Miles City where he remained until the time of his passing.

Lawrence enjoyed rock hunting, building model cars, carving on diamond willow sticks and most anything he could do with his hands.

He is survived by his three sons; Dale Tredway, Phillip Treday and Levi Tredway; one sister, Laurie Reed; six grandchildren, Slade Tredway, Elmino Mckeen, Adian Tredway, Harley Tredway and Mercedes Tredway and one great grandson, Jacob Carter Tredway. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Monte.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Son’s Funeral Home in Miles City. A graveside service with full military honors will be on Friday, October 5 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery.
