Lee Ann Rogers, age 48, of the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. Our mom’s journey happened on Easter, Sunday April 4th, 2021. She was born in Forsyth, Montana and grew up in Ashland, Montana, born to Betty Fisher and Clarence Rogers.
Lee Ann was a loving mother to Alisha, Jordan, Shantecca, Macayla, Kaelin, Victor, Justin and Clark. In fact she was a loving mother to many of her family members. She was loving, caring and welcoming to anyone who was around you. She always had a way to make you feel especially important when you were around her. Her optimism during difficult times,to console people in their hardest times. She was ready to be a caretaker at a moments notice when a family or friend was in need. She was a giving, loving, kind person.
She used to be an EMT at the Lame Deer Ambulance Service. Where she gained emergency medical experience, and further developed her empathy, compassion and understanding.
She attended Colstrip Highschool, which her father Clarence Rogers attended. She Graduated with the Class of 91.
Lee Ann had many hobbies, ever since she was a little girl she liked to dance traditionally at pow wows, also, to converse with friends, and hangout. She was our family doctor and our really Ishpiv driver She always loved to listen to music. Some of her many favorite bands was Linkin Park, Queen, The Temptations, and much more.
Lee Ann met Jay “Grandpa Jay” Armajo whom she loved very much.
The children of Lee Ann would like to give a special thank you to Jay and his mother “Grandma Theo” for taking her in as one of their own.
Lee Ann will be joined by her family on the other side, to include: Her father Clarence Leroy Rogers; Sister Kim Rogers, Grandparents John Fisher and Mary Playing Bear, and Julia Walkslast; Uncles Burton Fisher Sr., George Fisher, Dudley Fisher, Emery Fisher, Jimmy Walkslast, and Jimmy Rogers; Aunt: Rosanne Headswift, Brother-in-laws Larry ShotGunn; Nephew Shane ShotGunn, Cousin: Goni Fisher,
She is survived by her life partner Jay Armajo, Mother Betty Rogers; Brothers Waylon Rogers and Steven (Crystal) Carrell; Sisters Marilyn (Kenneth) Crow Eagle-Rogers, and Arlene Rogers; her children Alisha, Jordan, Shantecca, Macayla, Kaelin, Victor, Justin and Clark adopted children Jessica Rogers, Shireesa (Fred) Mann, Kaya Rogers, Dawntae Shotgunn, Neices and nephews: Noah, Drew, Regine Fisher.
She had many adopted children that were close to our family, and too numerous to mention. Nieces and Nephews: Mo (Sheena), Danielle, Christian, Cruz Glenmore, Shane ShotGunn, Raini June, and Suger Jean and New baby girl grandma nicknamed her April May. Lastly her grandchildren; Emma, Ronnie, Kayla, Zi, Zaden, Camielle and Baby Shane.
Lee Ann was related to many families including; Rogers, ShotGunns, Fishers, Phelan, Harris, Sandcrane, Littlebird, Playingbear, Standingelk, Walks Last and many more families that we have not mentioned. We apologize if we have forgotten anyone.
She had many family members she loved and we are sorry
