Lee became more proficient and opened up his own practice as Lee’s Transmission Shop. He spent many years building transmissions for the local community.
Lee loved racing cars, boating, shooting weapons, and spending time with his faithful German Shepherd Babe. He was a very gifted builder, whether in working on cars or building homes. His favorite song was “A Horse With No Name”.

So sorry to see the notice for Lee’s passing. I only knew him from school, but it is sad to see anyone leaving us before living a long life. I knew Lee only from a distance, but did have a few interactions with him. I saw where there is a sister Susan Houston, I went to school with a Susan Houston who would have graduated in 1969. If those people are one and the same, our condolences from here to a fellow CCHS classmate. We are sorry for your loss.

Lee’s Family and Friends,
I am so sorry to hear about Lee. I was just in Miles City that day and thought about him wondering what he was doing and how he was.
I will never forget the first time I went downhill skiing with Lee and of course Gerry in Big Sky.
What a pair!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

I will truly miss my grandpa so much. He taught me so much. I didn’t see him as often as I would have liked, but I knew he loved me. He constantly would call and just tell me happy birthday..even when it wasn’t my birthday. Im going to miss him so much. I didn’t attend the funeral because I was too upset to deal with the death of my loved one. Now I know that hes up in heaven watching over our family. Him and Babe were the perfect match. That dog was def a Houston. She made him happier than ive seen him in a long time. I really wish he was still here and able to meet my son. Only 1 month left and I wish he was here to see freak out over being a great grandparent. I love him and miss him so much!
