Lenora Jay Queen, age 53, of Forsyth passed away on July 26, 2016 at Rosebud Healthcare Center in Forsyth. Lenora was born on December 2, 1962 in Sundance, Wyoming to Harold Dutch Zimmerschied and Kathaleen Dell (Sherrard) Zimmershied.
Lenora grew up and attended schools in Morecroft, Wyoming, where she graduated. In 1978, when she was a freshman in high school, she met Thomas Queen. They started dating shortly afterwards, and on August 28, 1982, they were married. In 1993 they moved to Wright, Wyoming and then in 2006 to Forsyth. To their union, two children were born: Jonathan D and Jessica R Queen.
Lenora loved to cook. She enjoyed collecting wolf pictures, unicorns, and dream catchers. When her children were young, she enjoyed taking stats for their baseball games. She really enjoyed watching baseball as well as keeping her garden and yard beautiful.
Lenora was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Kathaleen (Sherrard) Zimmershied and her half-brother Leonard Graham.
She is survived by her husband Tom Queen; her children Jonathan Queen of Riverton, WY, and Jessica Queen of Forsyth; and her sisters Judy Kasefang of Meridian, ID, and Rita Ashby of Cleveland, TX.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Tammy Sorenson Memorial.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
