Leonard WolfBlack, Xao’ohnee’estse “Standing Skunk”, age 81, of Crow Agency passed away on January 30, 2021 at the Awe Kalawache Care Center. He was born on March 3, 1939 to Gladys WolfBlack and Homer Redneck. Leonard had four sisters: Phyliss, Cecilia, Ethelene, Johanna and Limana; and three brothers, Bilford, Dean, and Maynard.
Leonard really had a passion for horses. He enjoyed breaking horses and going to rodeo’s. He also enjoyed hunting fishing, and just being outdoors. He attended and graduated 8th grade at Birney Day School. Later, Leonard joined the Army in 1961 and worked as a mechanic. He was later honorably discharged in 1963.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Violet WolfBlack; sons, Windell WolfBlack, Linwood His Bad Horse, James His Bad Horse, Clifford (Marie) WolfBlack, Orin Charles Redneck; daughters, Yvonne Redneck, Rose Redneck, Clara (Vincent) WhiteCrane; sisters, Johanna Redneck, Limana Redneck, Phyllis Fisher, Cecelia WolfBlack Varela, Leeta WolfBlack Fletcher, Ethelene Killsnight; brothers, Bilford Curley, Dean Rondeau, Maynard Wolfblack, Buster Wolfblack; relatives, Redneck, Stands In Timber, Red Fox, Curley, WolfBlack, Blackwolf, Spotted Elk, and Shoulderblade; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Redneck and Gladys WolfBlack; son, Leonard Homer Jr.; Richard Dickie WolfBlack, Leonard Redneck Jr.; daughters, Melissa Colwoash, Loretta Lynn WolfBlack; aunt, Magoo Shoulderblade; sisters, Gloria Bigback, Virginia Wallace, Joyce and Joy WolfBlack, Rita Redneck, Florene Taylor; brother, John Redneck.
We would like to thank the Awe Kualawaache Care center for all the care they gave our loved one. We will all miss Leonard. Our family is large, we apologize if we didn’t mention you.

Buster Wolfpack sends his condolences. He said it’s sad years go by so fast. He seen him last when he was young. Dad says he really liked his uncle he was kind and smart.
