On July 4, 2013 the Kingdom of Heaven gained a beautiful angel. With his wife by his side, Leroy Haidle, age 77, of Terry passed away at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Billings.
Leroy was born on May 24, 1936 in Terry, Montana to Gottlieb and Annette Haidle. He married his high school sweetheart and soul mate Evelyn Morast on September 2, 1956 and together they raised four children, Leanne Lee (Donnie), Jolene Tvetene, Brad Haidle (Jody) and Janelle Richards (Chuck).
Leroy is a lifetime resident of Terry, with several years spent in California and Colorado. Leroy was raised on the family farm near Fallon and graduated from Terry High School in 1954. He received a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University and a master’s degree from University of Colorado. His engineering career included the Naval Missile Center (Titan 2 Missile) in Point Mugu, California, the National Bureau of Standards in Boulder, Colorado, and Western Area Power in Fort Peck and Miles City, Montana. His love was farming and he could always be found with a dog on his arm or nine at his heels. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan and enjoyed watching all sports, especially when his grandchildren were involved. God and family were his priorities and he led by example every day. Anyone who knows Leroy’s family knows he is the cornerstone of the family and a true inspiration to all.
Leroy is survived by his wife Evelyn, his sister Bernice Pomeroy (Melvin), his brother Duane Haidle (Shirley), his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dear Family and Friends of Leroy Haidle – It is obvious according to the information listed above about Mr. Haidle that he was loved and his life touched many people. Treasure the many beautiful memories left by Mr. Haidle. Please be comforted by Bible promises at this difficult time. Be assured that it was not a part of the Creator’s purpose that people suffer and die. Everything made by God was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Suffering and death was introduced by Adam’s disobedience and passed on to all mankind (Genesis 2:17). There will soon come a time when the dead are resurrected (John 5:28, 29) and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Faith in Bible promises will ease our pain in the time of this loss. Meanwhile we have the opportunity to be further comforted by Bible promises that give us hope (John 17:3).

We are sorry for your loss. Leroy was so kind and gentle. Here is a little memory I have of Leroy. It was my first year working at the bean plant, and it was a very crazy, busy day. Somewhere along the way I forgot to weigh Leroy’s semi. I had not learned of my mistake until his truck was completely unloaded. I felt so sick, terrified, and awful about my mistake. Leroy just smiled and told me not to worry and said mistakes do happen. I will never forget that moment.
