Levi Courage Bixby of Ashland, MT
December 6th, 1994 – October 15th, 2025
Levi Courage was called home to the Lord at the age of 30. Levi was born in Crow Agency to Trudy Brien and Bobby Bixby. Levi grew up in Ashland, MT and attended St. Labre, then went to MSU-Northern to pursue an education in plumbing.
Levi met the love of his life Fancy Belcourt in 2012 where they started a family together having his daughter and son, Lovely and Bobby. He also had a stepdaughter, Sylver. Levi loved to be a part of all the activities and trips they had planned for their kids. Levi enjoyed coaching his son in wrestling and grass dancing and coaching the kids in basketball. He loved powwowing and watching his kids competing. Levi was amazing at cheering his kids on. He let the crowd know when his kids won.
Levi was a hard worker. He always had a job no matter what and was an amazing construction worker. Levi started his own construction business, Wild Rose Construction, with hopes and dreams to grow his business. He loved to do ranch work at his brother DJ’s as well as working for Fancy’s dad Craig Belcourt and sons. Levi made his family proud in all that he did.
Levi’s favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and his love for the outdoors was where he found peace & fulfillment. He enjoyed time with friends and family. Levi was quite the storyteller. He had a smile that would light up the room. Levi loved going to church on weekends, going to Mackenzie River with his family, and sharing hot wings with his son.
Levi is survived by his parents, Bobby Bixby and Trudy Brien; grandmas Dominga and Connie; and his children Lovely, Bobby, and Sylver.
His siblings: Lacie (paco), DJ (Marty), Zoey (Kaden), Leonard, Chance, Lakota (Roslyn)
Levi Courage is survived by a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.
Preceding him in death are his grandpas Leonard Brien and David Bixby.

Levi’s kindness, love, and devotion to his family and friends will always be remembered and deeply missed. In our last conversation, I was touched by the joy in his voice as he spoke about his daughter’s basketball journey passion that brought him so much pride and connection. My heart and prayers are with the other Bixby and Brien families. May God’s peace and love bring comfort and strength during this difficult time.
