Levi McCoy Kenitzer went to meet his savior on November 18, 2015 at the age of 19. He passed away at the Billings Clinic with his family by his side after complications from a motorcycle accident.
Levi was born in Mt Vernon Illinois on November 25, 1995. He attended schools in Miles City from 3rd grade on, graduating from Custer County District High School in June of 2014. He was the youngest of 6 children in his family.
Levi enjoyed listening to all types of music and shared it with his friends. Levi played soccer, football and basketball. He competed in weight lifting and wrestling. He loved to take care of horses, was an avid rider and apprentice farrier. He was always willing to take on a heavy project. He loved helping others and was always available to lend a hand to someone in need. Levi was known for his big heart and his bear hugs. He was a friend indeed. He loved his foster brothers and sisters and was always available for entertaining an unhappy or fussy child.
Levi is survived by his parents Danny and Dorie Kenitzer of Miles City, MT; four brothers: Dillon Kenitzer, James Geurin, Victor Kenitzer, Robert Kenitzer, all of Miles City, MT; a sister Olivia Sample of Colstrip, MT; and an honorary brother Mike Johnson of Miles City, MT. He is survived by seven nieces and eight nephews as well as numerous foster brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and two uncles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements. When Levi would come in to see us at the game store and spend hours there talking it was a wonderful feeling that I will truly miss or watching him play zombies with Johnathon. I’m gonna miss you Levi. I’m gonna miss all the talks we had. When I was feeling down you always knew how to cheer me up. You always wanted to see a smile on every ones face even tho you needed some one to put a smile on your face. You never wanted to see anyone sad or down you always wanted them to be happy.
