I am sorry to hear about Lila. My prayers go to family and friends. She was a special lady and I will truly miss her. She had a loving smile and gentle touch, greeting those she passed in the hallway with both.
She loved that we both liked the same music. She especially enjoyed listening to music during her shower; seem to make the shower go quicker. She always thanked me after for the ‘best shower’.
I will truly miss her. Good bye, Lila.

I was so happy to get to know her and in our conversation I learned of her childhood in Livingston. She was my aunt Helen Watsons best friend. She was a sweet joy.

Aunt Punky gave me one of my favorite gifts – a photo of my husband when he was 6 or 7 years old. I so appreciated that Aunt Punky would understand that I would like to see him when he was a little guy. I am thankful for Aunt Punky, and my thoughts are with her loved ones, especially Aunt Pat and Elaine.
David Powell says
I will miss you and always love you Aunt Punky. Fondly I will remember all those summer vacations with you and Aunt Pat, where I got to live a Tom Sawyer like existence. Thank you for everything.

There are few people I loved playing music to more than Lila! She was one who deeply loved music with a special fondness for Patsy Cline. : ) There was nothing better than watching her listening to a song, close her eyes and drift off to another land. Miss ya Lila. So thankful to have known you.
