Goodbye to a truly great lady. I worked with Lil at the Red Rock for several years. Her personality was bigger than life and I loved her dearly. She embodied the aspect of love of life and lived it to the fullest. I can’t leave without saying her favorite pun- what did you do with your day Lil? “I was just out in my back yard in my bloomers most of the day” And then this rib splitting laugh would erupt. Lil-the world has lost a wonderful lady but I know heaven will love having you among its angles.

I wasn’t sure if I had the right Lil. I didn’t work with Lil but I knew her back in the day, when the Met Café was still here. Mary Ann Irion, Shirley Gibson among others. I can still see her bustling around in her western slacks. Hope this finds you well, Gary.
