Lillian McFarland

Visitation: will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home

Funeral Services: will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City

Interment: will follow in the Custer County Cemetery

Lillian Taylor McFarland, age 86, of Miles City, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2004 in Miles City, MT.

Lillian was born May 20, 1918 the daughter of Alvin and Amanda Krueger Taylor. She was reared on the ranch at Rock Springs, MT where she attended grade school. She graduated from Cohagen High School and Great Falls Commercial College. She and Hugh McFarland were married in Dillon, MT on July 31, 1941. Lillian worked many years at the locker plant in Miles City and retired to take care of her grandson Jerett. She loved baseball and spent many hours taking tickets and working in the mothers booth. She was excellent at crocheting and taught her grandson Trask how to make afghans.

Lillian is survived by her son, Robert McFarland and his wife Junelle, daughter Sandra Hays and her husband Bobby, two grandsons; Trask McFarland and Jerett Hays and granddaughter Shona McFarland, one great-grandson, Daymmon Hays, two sisters Ada (Clyde) McFarland and Pansy May, one brother Vern (Mary Lynn) Taylor, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Hugh, her parents, and four brothers; Vic, Bud, Tex & Jimmy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery.
