Lily Taylor Larson, infant daughter of Dustin Larson & Tasha Taylor, was born into heaven on September 23, 2014 in Bozeman, MT. Lily’s life on earth was short, however she knew only love. She touched the lives of many and showed her loved ones that life is precious no matter the duration. Lily was born with trisomy 18, she was said to be abnormal, but she was born as beautiful as an angel. She brought peace and joy to all who got the privilege to meet her. Lily was given the greatest gift we could ever have, to fall asleep and wake up to the face of Jesus and forever be with her Lord and Savior. May Lily live in peace with her fellow angels in Heaven until we reunite with her on our last days.
Lily is survived by her parents Dustin Larson & Tasha Rae Taylor of Bozeman, MT; her grandparents Ellen Larson of Townsend, MT and Marlys & Dallas Taylor of Rock Springs, MT; Aunts and Uncles: Randy & Rebekah Larson of Helena, MT, Jeff Oberlander of Vegas, NV, Jason Oberlander of Plevna, MT, Megan & Mike Hobbs and Stephanie Green of Miles City, MT. Great Grandma Shirley Taylor of Miles City, MT; Great Aunts and Uncles: Penny & Pat Smith, Roger & Connie Larson, Lonnie & Lynn Larson all of Billings, MT area. Diane & Doug Ellingson, Shane & Sherry Taylor, Bonnie & Archie LaRoque, Cody & Joleen Taylor and Mark Rogstad all of Miles City, MT, Mary Lynn & Tom Glogloria of Sheridan, WY; and all her cousins. Lily is proceeded in death by her Grandpa Danny Larson and Great Grandparents Bud Taylor, Mel & Winni Rogstad.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know I have been praying for you and will continue too. Your daughter was a very special gift from above. Having 3 children of my own with a rare genetic disorder I can only imagine the pain you are going through in your loss. But know that Lily will be forever in your hearts and one day you will be reunited and she will be waiting to greet you. May the Lord wrap His loving arms around you all.

My sincere condolences to the family of Lily Taylor Larson – I was saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful child. The loss of Lily was not something desired by the Creator. It was not God’s purpose that mankind suffer and die (Romans 5:12). God has promised that a time will come when no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). In the Bible we are promised a resurrection of dear family members and friends that we have lost with the hope of everlasting life in paradise conditions (John 5:28, 29). I hope that you are comforted by Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3).

Tasha, Dustin and family,
We send all of our love, thoughts, and prayers. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel for all of you. Here is a poem I found Tasha, I hope it helps in some small way. With hearfelt condolences, the Lang’s
“The world may never notice if a rosebud doesn’t bloom; or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon; but every life that ever forms or ever comes to be; touches the world in some small way for all eternity; the little one we longed for was swiftly here and gone; but the love that was then planted is a light that still shines on; and though our arms are empty, our hearts know what to do, every beating of our heart says, We will remember you.”
Steve & Jessica Kalbach says
Dustin, Tasha and family,
I know that you do not know who we are, but we heard about you at our church (First Baptist in Baker) through Jerry Schell. We are writing because we also had a daughter that was born with trisomy 18 two years ago. She was born so perfect looking that no one knew what her problem was for five weeks. We spent three of those weeks in ICU, first in Billings then in Spokane WA. They were finally able to get a correct diagnosis, and sent us home where she left for heaven on Thanksgiving day 2012. We know the great pain that comes with loosing a child, but we know the great comfort can only come from Christ. The greatest comfort that anyone ever shared with me was “God himself knows what it is like to watch his child suffer and die”. God knows what you are going through even if it feels like others really don’t. Cling to Him and if you have accepted Jesus as your savior, you WILL see your precious Lily again. Our prayers are with you and feel free to contact us if you need someone to talk to.
