Linda A. Irion, age 91 of Terry.

Linda Alma Irion, age 91, of Terry passed away October 7, 2016 at the Prairie Community Hospital in Terry, MT.

Linda was born on August 6, 1925 in Marsh, MT to Adam and Anna Marie (Necker) Kalmback the youngest child of the family of three brothers and four sisters. She attended DeWald Country School for 8 years.

Linda moved to Glendive and worked at the Northern Pacific Lunch Room and Prentrellis Café until meeting and marrying Theodore Irion on September 26, 1948 at the Fallon E.U.B. Church.

While living in Fallon, Linda worked at the U.S. Post office for twelve years before moving out to the farm with Ted. They lived out there until March of 1983 when Ted passed away. Linda had an auction sale and moved to Terry, MT where she worked at the Terry Hospital as a cook’s helper for ten years. After retirement Linda remained in Terry until the time of her death.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Ted, three brothers Albert, Adam and John; three sisters Mrs. Hilda Gaub, Mrs. Elsie Zimbach and Mrs. Martha Sperle.

She is survived by one sister Pauline Gaub, brother in law Andy Irion, many nieces and nephews and lots of friends. This obituary was hand written by Linda Irion in her own words in preparation for her final wishes.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Terry. Interment will follow in the Prairie County Cemetery.
