My deepest sympathies to Lynda’s family. Lynda went to high school with my older brother, and I remember them going to the prom together. She was so pretty. I remember the little store the family had between Norton and Appalachia and loved going there with my mom. Mrs. Morrison, Lynda’s mom was such a lovely lady. I remember a little cradle she made for my doll. I still drive that road to and from work nearly every day. Although the store is no longer there, I can’t help but look at that same spot and see it exactly how it was in those days. It always brings back good childhood memories of a wonderful family.
