Linda was a very kind, God-fearing woman. I worked with her years ago and attended a few Title 1 workshops with her. She was a DELIGHT! I loved her creative nature. We would laugh and say we should write a book. She connected with all kids and was especially understanding of those children who didn’t fit in or struggled with learning. Prayers for her family especially for John and Beth during this difficult time. May the Lord Bless you and keep you. Amen. Sue & Dean Ashley

Beth and John, my heart hurts for you. Linda was such a special gal. I loved working with her at school. Vern so enjoyed working with her while performing with the Parched Prairie Players. We had the best conversations and abundant laughs. She was one of the kindest people I have met. I know she is singing and playing her piano while in heaven. She will now have everlasting peace and joy. May God comfort you and wrap his arms around you, now and in the days to come! We will miss her sweet smile and her outgoing personality.

Shirley Weisgerber says
My sincerest sympathy and prayers to Linda’s Family. I had been getting to know Linda these past months through her work with Council of Catholic Women. She was so much fun to visit with on the phone and such a positive, beautifully spirited woman in whatever she did. When she suggested the theme for our virtual conference for the DCCW she & I worked on the logo and she was so pleased with how it all turned out. I even got an email from her immediately after the conference on Saturday, 21st, when the conference was all done. Her passing goes to show all of us that we never know the hour/day. Just know that she is now eternally with our loving God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

This saddens me so…
Linda was my right hand in my transition into the Special Education classroom six years ago! She knew these students and with her kind and patient demure, she made our classroom an enjoyable and safe learning environment for many. I am heartbroken as many others must feel at this time, but so grateful that I was able to share six wonderful years with this exceptional educator!
You have earned your Angel wings, Linda! You will be greatly missed! Love you for the special friend you were…
My sincere condolences to Linda’s family, friends, students, and the Terry community that she shared so many of her talents with…❤️🙏🏻❤️

In the short time I was blessed to work with Linda, I found her spirit cheerful and her laugh would light up the room. Her students were loved and she let them know. I wished I had more time to get to know her better. I will be lost without her guidance and knowledge of the SN classroom. I HOPE I can help fill a little bit of the void she has left with the school, although I could never replace her. I am so happy that Linda knew the Lord. We are all so sad and still in shock that she is gone.

Linda was one of the first people I met at Dickinson State College in 1977 and was such a good person. I believe she was just as scared as I was to be there. We grew to be good friends. She was so funney and witty. I will miss your baby eagle posts on FaceBook and adventures with her classes at school.
Janet Jennings says
I met Linda at the Lehr Bible Camp when we were in junior high. It didn’t take long before we became great friends and we kept up our friendship for many years. I was so honored when she asked me to be in her wedding. Unfortunately, we lost touch until Facebook reconnected us. Her enthusiasm for life, her laughter, and kindness will remain in my memories and heart.
Shane Fahrnow says
Over the course of seven years, I watched Linda perform many genuine acts of grace. She taught both of my children: one in daily classes for those seven years, one in extracurricular drama. She always made me smile. Though I still feel that she was stolen from us, time has passed since losing her, and I remember so many ways in which she made the world a better place. Love like that makes life worth living. I’ll remember you, Linda.
Susan and Art Tyler says
Linda was my dearest friends. There is a huge hole in my world since her passing. There is not one day that has gone by where I have not thought about her. So many amazing memories of times spent together. I know that John and Beth and the rest of her family are feeling the same way. We all were so blessed to have had such and amazing loving person in our lives.
We love and miss you, Linda. 💕
