Linda Rose Schutt made the transition from a loving Earthly being to a great spirit at Our Heavenly Fathers side.
She was born Linda Rose Hubert, September 10th, 1949 in Rock Springs, WY to parents Oscar Hubert and Rena Maxine James. Linda attended school in Kemmerer, Wyoming. She was the Relief Society Homemaking Leader in Colstrip LDS Ward and was the president of the Colstrip Chapter March of Dimes from 1980 to 1984. She was also a member of the Colstrip Quilt Club and was avid quilter.Linda was a loving child, wife, mother and grandmother and will always be remembered for her many great talents and her soft smiling face. She was a leader, an example for all to follow and she could make friends with total strangers in minutes. Her spirit overflowed with kindness, helpfulness, and a few laughs or more. She could brighten most anyone's day by just being there. She was first diagnosed with cancer in June of 2006 and fought a long courageous battle to stop its advance, but to no avail, with the final days at her home where she wanted to be with her loved one's.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Rena, a sister Carolyn Jean from Colorado, brothers George Lloyd, Robert Dean and Jimmy Dale all of Wyoming.
Linda is survived by her husband Frederick William, two daughters, Patricia Lynn Zurbuchen (Robert) of Wyoming and Joleen Dawn Schaefer (Prescott) of New Mexico, six grandchildren, William Allen, Bradley Aarron, Jordan David, Haileigh Nicole, Christina Breanne and Kiah Jane.
