A Memorial Service: Monday, August 15, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Assembly of God Church in Jordan, Montana.
Linda E. Slayton, age 48, of Miles City, MT went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 24, 2004 at the Friendship Villa in Miles City.
Linda was born on January 3, 1955 in Woodland, California, the daughter of Howard and Hazel (Jarden) Slayton. In 1962, she moved to her Uncle Jardens Ranch at Jordan with her mother and sister Jane. She attended the Steves Fork school and graduated from Garfield County High School. Following she moved to Miles City with her sister and worked at Eastern Montana Industries. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Jordan. Linda moved to the Friendship Villa in 2000.
Survivors include her uncle, Donald Jarden and aunt Lorraine of Sand Springs, MT; cousins: Timothy and Karen Speaker and their son Ben of San Luis Obispo, CA; Donna and her daughter Kristine Wolcott of Huntington Beach, CA; and Dennis and Kathy Matheson and their daughters Jennifer, Melissa and Kara of Tarzana, CA.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Hazel Slayton, her sister Jane Slayton and an Aunt and Uncle Doris and Don Speaker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. There will then be visitation on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Jordan. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Steve Forks Cemetery at Sand Springs.
