Lois C. Nefzger, age 80, of Glasgow, MT, formerly of Frazer, died July 23, 2003 at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow of natural causes.
Lois was born December 27, 1922 in Ashley, ND to parents Jacob and Christina Bollinger. Lois was raised and attended schools in Ashley. She attended beauty school in Fargo, ND where she met Earl Nefzger. They were married December 23, 1941 in Wolf Point, MT. Lois worked for many years at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point. She also worked at J.C. Penney and as a beautician for many years. Lois and her husband owned and operated E & L Drive-in in Frazer for many years. She enjoyed handcrafts, ceramics, and gardening and planting flowers. She attended the Nazarene Church in Glasgow and previously was a member of the Community Mennonite Church of Wolf Point.
Her parents preceded Lois in death.
Her husband Earl of Glasgow, son Monte Nefzger of Nashua, two daughters, Donna FitzSimmons of Glasgow and Claryce Wiers of Plentywood, survive her. Three sisters, Ambie Banak of Seattle, WA and Laurie Rennie and Dorothy McQuire, both of Yakima, WA, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survive her.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 27 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be Monday, July 28 at 10 a.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barry Beard officiating. Interment will be at the Vida Cemetery.
