Loren was born on August 23, 1925 at Indianapolis, IN to Leroy and Myrtle Brocklehurst in Indianapolis, IN. The family moved to Montana in August 1929 and lived in the Sonnette area of Powder River County before moving to Forsyth in July 1939. Loren attended Forsyth schools.
He entered the U S Navy January 26, 1944 boot camp at Farragut, ID. Loren served aboard the Escort Carrier USS Lunga Point CVE94 until being honorably discharged April 18, 1946.
Loren worked at several jobs in Forsyth area before starting service as a bridge carpenter for Northern Pacific and succesor railroads. He retired in August of 1987. He was long time member of Federated Church and Forsyth VFW. His last years were in residence at Rosebud Community Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Myrtle.
Loren is survived by his brothers George and Lowell Brocklehurst.
