Lorene Lori (Sisko) Holtz, age 39, of Miles City passed away suddenly on Monday, June 14, 2010 at her home in Miles City.
Lori was born in Billings, Montana on December 23, 1970, the daughter of Clifford and Vicki (Keffer) Sisko. She grew up and attended schools in Miles City. Lori married Edward Conrad in October of 1989. They had one son, Justin. She later married Jim Holtz in August of 2000.
Lori was the kind of person who stuck by the underdog. She was always a loving and caring person, always giving to others even if it meant her going without. These past two years she has been teaching bible studies and in prayer meetings with her lifelong friend Monte Moore. Lori was an administrative officer for the United States Naval Sea Corp of Montana Mountain Battalion for the past year where she served as Ensign.
Lori is survived by her parents, Clifford and Vicki Sisko of Miles City, MT; a son, Justin James Conrad of Miles City, MT; two brothers: Michael (Kirsten) Sisko of Sheridan, WY and Joseph (Faith) Sisko of Sheridan, WY; two sisters, Carol (Rob) Melton of Parker, CO and Stephanie (Shane) Whaley of McDonough, GA.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents on both sides; two uncles: Robert G. Sisko and Tony Keffer and her brother, Clifford Sisko.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Awana at Valley Drive Baptist Church, 3 in 1 at Grace Bible Church or Sea Cadets of Clifford Sisko
