Family to Receive Friends: Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Funeral services: Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Interment: Custer County Cemetery

Loretta Mary (Frize) DeGlopper age 72, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the hospital.

Loretta was born in Shield, ND on December 13, 1937. She was born to Mike Frize and Mary (Fleck) Frize. Loretta was known to her eight sisters and four brothers as Toots.Loretta started working at a young age, washing dishes at the Log Cabin Cafe. Later she worked as a waitress and later retired with the title of the Kings Janitor. Although to those who knew her, the majority of her lives work was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She married Rodney Schrock in Michigan in 1954. This union brought six children. A daughter Mary Jane (Richard) of Martinsville, IN; a son Edward (Tammi) Schrock of Kingston, WA; a daughter Debra Schrock of Dothan, AL; a daughter Susan (Danny) South of South Villa Rica , GA; a son Dale Schrock of Ely, NV; a daughter Linda Schrock of Miles City, MT. They later divorced.Loretta married Warren DeGlopper on March 10, 1969 in Wyoming. To this union Warren brought three children, Penny, Gail and Warren Jr. all of Nebraska. Later Loretta and Warren adopted their granddaughter, Dawn (Timothy) Meyer of Missoula, MT.Loretta was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan. She also would not miss an episode of The Young & The Restless for anyone or anything. Loretta enjoyed embroidery, flowers, gardening, bowling, playing cards, word searches, and watching football.Lorettas true loves were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loretta is survived by six sisters, three brothers, all of her children, her step-children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Loretta is also survived by two very special friends, Greg and Martha.

Loretta was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Warren; her sisters, Katie and Caroline; her brother, Carl; her granddaughter, Macy and her special friend, Becky.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
