I grew up close to Lori in Forsyth. We were friends while in school, and graduated together. I remember Lori always had a kind heart for others. I haven’t seen her since our 10 year high school reunion. I was very touched by the post that Lori wrote last summer honoring our dear friend, Laurie Gregerson, who died of breast cancer last July. I made a “Life in Pictures Memory Album” to share with our classmates at our 40 year high school reunion this July. I was especially excited to share it with Lori. I think it would’ve made her smile.
To all of Lori’s family and friends, I am very sorry for your loss. Cherish the good memories. I will always remember her fondly. Rest In Peace, Lori.

I don’t know where to start….Lori was the first girl that I met when I would come back from Oregon in the summertime to stay with my Grandpa Leo DeCock and Grandma Annie DeCock. The Staples family live right around the corner and we became friends when I was about 5 and Lori was 7. We lost touch with each other over the years, but I do remember playing with her and having fun times as children.
Thank you for being a part of my life Lori❤
May you rest in peace…

Rest in Peace, Lori. To the Staples family you are in my prayers and thoughts at this sad time. Lori was such a vital person. She was a friend to my older kids and always breezed in the house with a laugh and a happy hello! I mostly saw her at the pharmacy lately until this virus hit us. Will miss her friendly face and personality. Love to all.

Shirley and family,
I just learned of Lori’s passing and I am so saddened by this news. Lori was my first best friend. We started kindergarten together and ran thousands of steps between each other’s homes during our elementary school years. When I moved to WY, we would write letters to each other and reconnect when I would visit Forsyth. We lost touch through the years but re-connected a couple of years ago. Same smile, and same loving soul. I am so sorry for your loss. May the many great memories bring you comfort.
Lori was the perfect, first best friend. Rest easy my sweet friend. You will forever live in a piece of my heart.
