Lorraine Yineman, age 73, Miles City Montana died December 3, 2016 at home with family and friends by her side.
Lorraine Yineman was born on March 18, 1943 in Billings, Montana to Frank and Elizabeth (Buechler) Getzfreid. She married Kenneth Yineman in 1965. Lorraine worked as a nurse in Miles City VA and Friendship Villa retiring in 2006.
Lorraine served in the Air Force which started her love for nursing. She lived in numerous towns through the years including Yakima WA, Billings MT, Savage MT, Jeffery City WY, Wind River WY, Gallup NM, and settling in Miles City in 1986. She was a huge crafter and enjoyed crocheting, beading, and quilting. She had a very generous heart, and often gave out hand crocheted angels, leaving all of her loved ones, family, and friends with a little part of who she was.
She will be missed for many reasons, including her famous German dumplings. Only Lorraine could make them taste just right. In her passing, she would not want us to be stuck in our grief. Rather, Lorraine would want us to remember death is a part of life. Celebrate her full life, remembering the good and wonderful times we have all spent with her.
Survived by her, are her children David Mueller, Karl Mueller and Elizabeth, and Beth Flores, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a brother Gerald Getzfreid.
Proceeded in death, by her parents Frank and Elizabeth, Husband Ken Yineman, a bother John Getzfreid and grandson David Daniel Mueller.
Her presence on earth will be missed dearly, yet we are comforted knowing she is with God in a much more and amazing place to watch over each and every one of us.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery with full military honors. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Lorraine at the VA and really liked her–she was very nice. She gave me advice that I still remember and practice to this day. Sorry she has passed.
