Lorraine Rogers was born May 8,1929 in Isabel S.D. She was raised by her Mother Maggie and Grandmother Linderman. She was raised and attended school in Isabel,S.D.
She Married Neil Rogers May 6, 1947, in Isabel where they ranched on the family ranch until 1955. They moved to Miles City to pursue new job opportunities. While raising eleven children Dad worked at VA as a nursing assistant. Lorraine worked at Holy Rosary as a Nursing assistant in OB and as a Surgical tech. She then worked caring for people in their homes. Lorraine had a special group of ladies she met with weekly up to her death. They became a special family to us all. Kathy Dyba,Carol Rainey, Kathleen Gill and Nancy Letke. They started in her home and followed her to the Friendship Villa and HRH Residence.
The family would also like to send a huge thank you to Friendship Villa Staff and HRH Residence Staff for the love and excellent care she received. Mama loved you all and always remembered to call you by your names.
Also thank you to her loving roommate Barbara and how they supported and prayed together up until she met Jesus in Heaven.God answered her prayers and took her home. Her utmost prayer is the invitation for You to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him. By ASKING JESUS INTO YOUR HEART.

“Gramma Rogers” was my son’s first Sunday School teacher. The first memory verse she taught him at age three; “I am a child of God.” When we would ask Robert to memorize and repeat his Bible verse, he would say “I am a child of Gramma Rogers.” That tells me that Gramma Rogers was a very good friend of God. I know she is where she has longed to be for many years. We will all miss her! She was a remarkable woman! She was everybody’s Gramma.

I treasure all of our visits that occurred every time I was in the building.
