Luna Rose Bixby “Lightning Stands Woman”, Ho’otseoo’e, was born on February 6, 2024 to Derek Bixby and Jaqi Bullcoming. She was called home by the creator on February 7, 2024. Our beautiful Angel was born 10 pounds and 22 inches at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT. how very quietly you tiptoed into our world and stayed for just a moment. Luna Rose will forever be in our hearts, in memory and in spirit.
Luna is survived by her mother, father and older brother, Kayden; great grandmother’s, Jocelyn Spang, Susie Cain, and Myrna Burgess; great grandfather, Phillip Whiteman Jr.; grandmothers, Lujanna, Joetta, and Mary; grandfathers, Kevin (Crystal), and Dana; aunts, Maqiah (Kyzn), Stefanie (Sienna), Britney, Victoria; uncles, Marquise, Devin, Miles Sr. (Talissa), Taran Sr., Dylan, Andrew, and Third.
Luna is preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Emaline (Alfonso); great grandparents, Joe and Agnes Bear; grandmothers, Lana Bixby, and Veronica Bearcomesout; uncles, Christian Lee Bixby, and Davin Little White Man; great grandmothers, Cheryl King, Alberta L.H. Spang; grandmothers, Christy Woodenthigh, Cordelia (Kay) Spang, Shannon Bullcoming, and Mystery Spang; aunts, Shelrae Limpy, and Shetae Sandcrane.
Luna also has a very large extended family including Bullcoming, Bixby, Bearcomesout, Bearquiver, Waslkaslong, Marshall, Kings, Littlebird, Runsavove, Woodenthigh, Whiteman, Fishers, Harris, and Spangs. We apologize if we missed anyone.
