Graveside Services: will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Knowlton Cemetery.
Lydia Lea Fleming, age 73, of Miles City passed away on Monday, February 2, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.
Lydia was born in Ismay, Montana on January 29, 1931, the daughter of Lee and Rosemond (Kimball) Linnell. She attended and graduated from high school in Ismay. Lydia married Maurice Fleming on October 1, 1950 in Ismay, Montana. They lived at Knowlton, Montana until moving to Miles City in 1976. Lydia served on the local School Board, was President of the Fallon Creek and Southeastern Montana Cowbelles, member of Locate-Knowlton Extension Club, Past President of Custer County Extension Council, Deacon and Elder of Presbyterian Church, Past President of Range Riders Reps, was a member of the Eagles Club, Sage Riders, and RSVP. Lydia enjoyed cooking, friends, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's activities.
Lydia is survived by two sons: Philip Fleming and his wife Debi of Broadus, MT; and Tab Fleming and his wife Santos of Miles City, MT; a daughter, Rita Fleming of Miles City, MT; seven grandchildren: Brett, Derick, Jesse, Cresta, Rayne, Carmen, & Tab; and a brother George Linnell of Miles City, MT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maurice in 1995, a brother LaJaren and a sister Neva.
