I was deeply saddened when Dale let me know of Lyle’s passing..like he said, we all knew it was coming but hard when it did..I had gone to see him in Osnabrock and stopped in for a very good visit in Forsyth on my way to Hardin for a good friend’s funeral..his big Grand Prix was the first car I drove with power brakes( which he and dad found out the first time he asked me to stop by the roadside/country driving) 😂😂, his 1911/45 was the first handgun I had shot( his fault I have so many now 👍), and he had a big skee horse or johnson snowmobile that he said if I could start it I could drive it…being a skinny kid I pulled and pulled on the rope but finally got to drive it…lot of good memories of Lyle and Sheila..during our recent visits he said how much he loved her and missed her..how happy they must be now and forever more..we’ll all miss those two but eventually will see them again..( not for awhile I hope)..
