Lyman John Junior Adrian, Jr., age 77, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, August 02, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.
Junior was born in Miles City, Montana on May 20, 1931, the son of Lyman and Della (Rogers) Adrian. He attended schools in Miles City until he entered the United States Armed Forces. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Miles City where he went to work for the Milwaukee Railroad which he worked for 24 years. He then went to Huron to work for the Minnesota Dakota Eastern Railroad from which he retired. He then went to Florida for a time before returning to Miles City a year ago where he has resided since.
Junior cherished his friends and family and loved his job on the railroad. He was a life member of the Elks and the VFW.
Junior is survived by a son, Mike (Teressa) Adrian of Katy, TX; a daughter, Patricia (Ron) Verbeck of Tonasket, WA; a brother, Kenneth Adrian of Cocoa, FL; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Mike, Victor and Harold; and two sisters: Dorothy and Goldie.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastern Montana State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1579. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
