Margaret Lulu Parrott, age 85, a Campbell County resident, died Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette, Wyoming.
Margaret L. Parrott was born the daughter of Vernie (Marsh) and Carl Puls in Laramie, Wyoming on August 24, 1918. She was raised and educated in Laramie, Wyoming. She married Taft R. Parrott in Greeley, Colorado on February 5, 1937. Together they made their home in California where she resided until about 8 years ago, when she moved to Gillette, Wyoming to be closer to her family. During WWII she helped her country by working as a riveter at McDonald Douglas Aircraft Company.
Margie was a hard worker; she worked as a hostess and waitress until she physically couldnt. She liked this occupation because she loved being around people. Not having children of her own she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and watching them grow. She enjoyed reading western books, and Tracy Byrd music.
Margaret is survived by two sisters: Georgia Barbour of Gillette, Wyoming and Dee McDonald of Richwood Missouri; 16 nieces & nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mickie Dyer; and two brothers: Carl Puls Jr. and Bill Puls.
