In Memory Of

Margie Roselle-Leib, age 79, of Kalispell formerly of Miles City.

October 2, 1940 – September 28, 2020

Margie LaVelle Roselle Leib, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.   A funeral service will be held on October 5, 2020 at Olinger Highland Funeral Chapel in Thornton, CO.   Margie was born on October 2, 1940 to George and Margie Baker.  She married the late, Melvin Roselle, Sr on March 7, 1959, and they had five children.

Margie loved being active and supportive in her community by volunteering in many roles such as a candy striper, the later as an ambulance EMT, in fire house fundraisers, as a girl scout leader and in many aspects of church service. She enjoyed serving to serve, not looking for recognition or attention. She enjoyed studying the Bible as a means to personal growth and to be closer to The Lord. She worked for both the post office and veteran health services, and served as church secretary at the First Lutheran Church for many years.  Margie loved the outdoors, travel, dancing and reading, as well as stained glass work and quilting .  She had a knack for organization.  Cooking and sewing were also two gift she had and shared frequently. While living in Miles City, she was active in the lady’s sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.

She later married Doug Leib on June 27, 2009 and they enjoyed many years of traveling, dancing and living in the sunshine of Arizona.

Margie is preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Roselle Sr and son, Melvin Roselle Jr. She is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle & Dan Luhr of Gillette, Wyoming, Marilyn & Cliff Davis of Thornton, Colorado, Melissa & Corey Wiley of Kalispell, Montana, and Melanie & Allan Nauman of Boerne, Texas.  Margie is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Shocked to see this posting. Please know how sorry I am for your loss. We were in touch for awhile after Mel passed but lost touch after she moved. Keep your memories in your hearts!

Margie was my Beta sorority sister until she moved. Our group talks about her often and miss her friendly personality and helpful ways. These last years have been a struggle but she always met diversity head-on with prayer and determination. She will be missed. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

With Beta love Xi Gamma Chapter, Mary Partridge

So sorry for your loss. It was hard enough for me when she moved away from Miles City. So sad to see her go. We’ll all find comfort knowing she had the most beautiful angels wings.
May peace be with you all. Love Julie Harbaugh.
