Marie and Calvin were great friends to our family. Many events shared, school, 4-H and brandings. She was a special friend to my parents, especially my Mother. They had so many common interests and always had an adventure accomplishing them, including making and marketing ‘Nancy & Marie Frozen Pie Crusts’. Sympathies to Eddie and Elaine, may your memories be of comfort.

  31. Victor Fondy says

    June 6, 2021 at 2:48 pm

Marie was my classmate at Belle Fourche High School and we graduated together in 1948. After going our separate ways we reunited at many class reunions and at the fall/spring Class of 1948 coffee gatherings in Belle. In addition we visited her at her home on Horse Creek and last saw her on April 14, 2021 at the Powder River Manor in Broadus.

Marie was a quiet but very talented lady who wrote a poetry book, performed at the annual Alzada poetry festival, ran for county commissioner three times (never made it), visited and performed at area nursing homes, traveled the world, and lived by herself at a home in remote southeast Montana.

You lived a great life and we’ll miss you Marie.

    Vic/Donna Fondy
