Rite of Committal: will follow in the Calvary Cemetery
Marilynn Rae Hart, age 60, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Marilynn was born on May 18th, 1947 in Kalispell, Montana, the daughter of John William and Elsie Olive (McDonald) Hart. She grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from Saint Marys High School in 1965. She then entered Marylhurst Convent from 19651967. She then worked at WaverlyChildrens Home for 10 years. In 1979, Marilynn moved to Miles City to be a nanny for Bill and Charlotte Mathers. She then went to work at Holy Rosary Hospital as a ward clerk and surgery tech for 26 years.
Marilynn was a kind and gentle woman. Her primary focus in life revolved around her faith, her birds, her family and her friends. Marilynn always had such a generous heart and always put others first. She was a sister who was always there for her family and she spent her life caring for others.
Marilynn is survived by her brother and sisters: James William Hart, Teresa Anne Anderson; brother-in-law Bret L. Anderson; Janice (DeDe) LeeHaviland and brother-in-law, Frank R.Haviland; nieces and nephews: Amber, Juan, Jessica, Justin, Nathan, Sasha, Nicole, Nicholas, Tawny; great nieces and nephews: Juan, Parker, Anthony, Zachary, Kylee Rose, Lylee, Jacob, Cameron. She is also survived by the most wonderful friends who have taken Marilynn and her family into their hearts and their home. God bless each and every one of you.
A Vigil service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Rite of Committal will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
