In Memory Of

Marion Krivtz, age 88, of Red Lodge and Lame Deer

December 24, 1926 – March 4, 2015

Marion M. (Roat) Krivtz, 88, formerly of Red Lodge, passed away on March 4, 2015, at the Rosebud Health Care Nursing Home in Forsyth.

Grandma, as she was called by her family and friends, was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Red Lodge. On July 12, 1946, she married John Krivtz. Marion and John spent their years on their ranch in Red Lodge until John’s death in 2001. Following her husband’s death, she moved to Rosebud Creek to be near her daughter Judy and son-in-law Tuffy Ross. She enjoyed being horseback in her younger days, gardening and spending time with family.

In addition to her husband, Marion was preceded in death by her parents, brother Paul Norman, sister Pauline and son-in-law Tuffy Ross.

Survivors include her two children Judy Ross, of Lame Deer, and John C. (Anita) Krivitz, of Billings; grandchildren John (Kaaren) Ross, of Elko, Nev., Jolene Martin, of Colorado, and Brandi (Duane) Phillips, Justin (Liz) Krivitz and Brian (Katie) Krivitz, all of Billings; three great-granddaughters; six great-grandsons; and brother Jim Roat, of Grass Range.

The family would like to thank Rosebud Health Care staff for all of the loving and wonderful care they gave our mother.

Cremation has taken place, there will be a family gathering later this summer in Red Lodge.
