Marion Rose Stickney Langdorf

Funeral Service: Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Miles City.

Marion Stickney Langdorf died peacefully in her home surrounded by loved one's Monday evening, April 5, 2010.

She was born Marion Rose Reichenberg to parents Herman and Maria Reichenberg December 2, 1933 in Krem, North Dakota. She grew up on a farm north of Hazen, North Dakota. She graduated from Hazen High School in May, 1952, and married Duane Stickney August 23, 1953. Duane and Marion raised three daughters, Carmen, Karen, and Julie and lived in several small communities in North Dakota and Sydney, Montana before settling in Miles City, Montana in 1991. She married Peter Langdorf on May 14, 2004.Marion was a devoted homemaker and loved her family very much. She enjoyed life to its fullest, and loved fishing, bowling, golf, and dancing. Although her friends and family will miss her, they have been greatly blessed with Marion's smile and her enthusiasm for life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Herman Reichenberg, three sisters, Erma, Edna, and Lena, six brothers, Harold, Leland, Emil, Wilbert, Paul and Adrian.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Langdorf, daughters Carmen (Corley) Benson, Karen Stickney, and Julie Towle (Bernie Neuhaus), grandchildren, Caitlin Benson, Shawn and Shannon Flynn, Aaron Staples, and Bethany and Marti Jean Towle, great- grandchildren Heather and Bryan Flynn, sisters Lorraine Schneider and Evelyn Orr, and three sisters-in-law; Elaine (Alvin) Wittmaier, Diane and Adeline Reichenberg.

Funeral services will held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Miles City. Interment will be held at a later date at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Bismarck, ND. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church Kitchen Fund. Stevenson & Sons Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
