Marion M. Sandau age 76 of Wolf Point formerly of Poplar, MT passed away November 28, 2006 at Trinity Hospital.
Marion was born in Zap, ND to her parents Otto and Ella Bauer on April 9, 1930. She grew up in Zap and Beulah ND and went to school in Zap ND. She married Harvey Sandau in Beulah ND. On August 19, 1950. Harvey proceeded in death on March 3, 2001. Marion was a homemaker and raised her family in Poplar. She was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church in Poplar. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts and making her own clothing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; Phyllis, and an infant daughter, her granddaughter Angie, 3 brothers; Lester, Lloyd and Robert and one sister; Loretta Bazler. She is survived by her sons; Rick (Denise) Sandau of Sidney, MT., Wayne Sandau of Poplar, MT., brothers; Clyde of Poplar and Dennis of Beulah, ND., sisters; Lora of Billings, MT., Leila of Texas, Stella & Betty of Beulah, ND., and Linda of Santa Cruz, CA., 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mom had many trials and tribulations during her life, medical and otherwise that she faced with patience, respect and dignity.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2006, 11 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Poplar, MT. Interment will take place at the Poplar City Cemetery.
