Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 10:30am at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point.
Marjory L. Brown passed away on May 26, 2004 at Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point, Montana, after a courageously fighting a long illness.
Marjory was born July 27, 1929 in Wolf Point, Montana to Evan and Doris Merriman. She attended school in Vida and graduated from Circle High School. She also attended college at Havre and took nurses training in Great Falls.
She married James P. Brown in October of 1954. The lived in various places before settling down on a small farm near Wolf Point. Marjory loved attending to her flowers and garden and took pride in her beautiful yard. She loved animals, especially her horses. One of her greatest joys was watching her granddaughter, Faron, compete in 4-H horse events, barrel racing and pole bending at rodeos and horse shows. She was a 4-H leader I Roosevelt County for 14 years. She also served on the Roosevelt County fair board for 13 years. She had a great interest in the youth and enjoyed watching them excel in their animal projects.
Survivors in clued her husband, James; four sons, David (April) Brown of Park City, Don Brown of Wolf Point, Richard Brown of Billings, and Terry (Lynn) Brown of Billings; two granddaughters, Faron Brown of Wolf Point, and Kirtlye Schuman of Billings; and one sister, Linda (Tom) Guldborg of Vida.
Marjory was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Revelations 21:4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Their will be no more death and mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
A special Thank You to all the staff at Faith Lutheran Home. Thank you for loving Marjory and being her friend. Thank you for joking with her and making her laugh. Thank you for the hugs and squeezes you gave her. She loved you all. May God richly bless you.
