Mark William Bibeau, 59, was born on February 11, 1958 in Jordan, Montana to William Raymond and Gail Lois (Young) Bibeau, the second of three children. He departed this life on October 2, 2017, in Miles City, after a long illness.
Mark attended grade school in Billings and Jordan, graduating from Garfield County High School with the class of 1976. Mark lived in Washington State for a spell and was there when Mount Saint Helens erupted. He was briefly married to Tana Gould. Mark was an accomplished autobody repair man. He preferred fixing older vehicles that could actually be repaired rather than replaced. He learned this skill by watching and helping his dad since he was a teenager and eventually took over Bill’s Auto Body in Jordan after Bill retired in 1997.
Mark loved the outdoors – hunting, fishing, panning for gold and just exploring. He had several odd pets over the years: a skunk, bobcat, bat and racoon. He seemed to have a special bond with animals. He was a fan of good rock-n-roll music and a master pool player, playing on many teams, taught by his father and grandma May. He was one of the originators of the annual “Brain Fry” which has been going for 37 years and was proud of his association with the Mission Mountain Wood band and Ray Sawyer of Dr. Hook. Mark really enjoyed a lively “debate” and would sometimes switch sides to keep it going.
He was a good, true friend to many. A “simple” man, possessions were not important to him. He was very intelligent and would make a good teammate in a game of trivial pursuit.
Mark is survived by his father, Bill Bibeau; a sister Tanna (Dean) Rogge; nieces: Tonya (Kevin) South, Johnna (Blasé) Roskelley, Ashley Ryan, nephew Denver Hensleigh; grandnieces: Katie South, Addison Roskelley and Vera Samario; grandnephews: Dylan Butler, William South, Kolton Hensleigh, Kaden Hensleigh, Kyron Roskelley and Sylis Samario and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Gail Ady and a brother Mike, and several close friends.
A special thank you to the people that lent Mark a hand, brought him food, and watched over him. The family very much appreciates the loyalty of his friends.

I went to school with Mark and remember him as a good-natured rebel. I remember him drawing in his notebook instead of taking class notes. He tried to teach me how to play chess with much patience, but not much success. He was smart and had a zest for life and devil-may-care attitude that I often envied. I remember a nice chat a group of us had with him at the Hell Creek Bar at an informal class reunion of sorts a few years back. May you find a good fishing hole in Heaven, Mark. Blessings to his family.

One of my favorite people! he started teaching me bodywork, but i was too busy with work to finish.one of my biggest regrets!I love that guy he was a gem i love hangin, drinkin and learnin from him, he was my mentor and friend.I hope everyone remembers this guy! i wouldn’t trade a moment with this guy. Drink some icehouse fix a car n smoke a cigarette n remember this guy did everything better than you and not by chance but by hard work over years and years of experience relations and friend building, because the guy knew what it meant to be with people. I’ve seen the guy audibly fight and laugh over shit he believed in just because, not just for any reason it was more like practice for the big leagues for someone else. Hes amazing no matter how you look at the guy! I’m sure he’ll forgive for my late response as he always told me his brother was late for everything even his own funeral. i love this man hes amazing i miss him i wish him the best in bibeauland where hes free to have pet coons n beat metal to the shape it should be. miss you man!
