Mark Killham

May 18, 1958 – December 9, 2011

Mark Joseph Killham, 53, of Circle passed away at his home in Circle on Thursday, December 8, 2011.
Mark was born on May 18th 1958 to Joe and Betty Killham in Lewistown, Mt.

Mark was a tumbleweed and wherever life took him that´s where he went. He was involved in various businesses radio and T.V. in Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. He took great pride in helping "Jerry´s Kids" and was instrumental in starting "The Road Trip to Nowhere" to benefit them. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin at Fort Peck Lake and especially time spent creating antics with his nieces and nephews there.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Joe and his sister Kathleen. He is survived by his mother Betty, brothers Tom {Sheryl}, Shane {Susan} and Dan {Trudi}. He is also survived by a son Josh Lester {Marcy} and his family along with special friend Callie and her children. He will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews Wendee, Kristen, Lindsey, Zac, Ryan, Erica, Sarah, Austin and Ashley.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at The Brockway Bar on Saturday Dec. 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Circle is in charge of the arrangements.

    We got to know Mark when he owned the Brockway Bar. Had lots of good times there. We just had a good visit wiht him the last time we were there. Our deepest sympathy on your loss.

    We’re so sorry for your loss. We’ve known Mark for many years and always looked forward to a visit or a call. He had such a gift for telling a great story, most of them were from his many experiences in life. Some live their life with few stories. Mark had many.

    I absoutely loved Mark. He ran the jewelry store next to Valley Auto when I worked there. He was a fine example to my son, Neil. He will be missed by many.

    I worked with Mark at KEYZ and later Jim & I looked forward to him stopping when we owned the restaurant in Alexander (we served him many pieces of pumpkin pie), Mark was a great friend and we will always remember him

    Mark and I ran around a bit at MSU and we had a lot of fun. He and is GTO Judge and me and my NOVA. LOL. Too bad I never caught up to him during the travels. Peace be with your family.

    My Uncle Mark was one of my favorite people in the world. He was always so happy and ill never forget our time together. I love You uncle Mark, I Miss you dearly. I hope you are with grandpa right now, and my mom. you are three of the most important and influential people to ever be part of my life. I love you all.
